    Job Responsibilities:

    • Communicate with Project Managers, Department Managers, and Sales Representatives to understand job scope, timing, and goals to relay to field crews
    • Verify and approve information on job tickets to ensure accuracy of time, materials, and equipment used
    • Calculate duct sizes and perform load calculations as needed for HVAC project estimates
    • Provide technical assistance for field workers and support Purchasers
    • Accurately estimate labor and material cost for jobs of all sizes
    • Order long lead materials
    • Perform site visits to obtain information for quoting purposes

    Job Requirements:

    • 5 years’ experience in industrial/heavy commercial HVAC field
    • Extensive experience in estimating with the ability to analyze scope of work and quote quickly, while providing the proper information to execute instructions to department team members
    • Capable of monitoring job progression from estimation stage through completion
    • Knowledge of industrial/commercial HVAC equipment and material (roof top units, exhaust systems, make-up air systems, dust collection systems, etc.)
    • Experience in subcontractor coordination
    • Prior experience developing the scope of work for industrial/commercial projects
    • Experience in bidding, quoting, contracts, and purchase orders
    • Ability to multitask in a fast paced, team environment
    • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
    • Additional knowledge in chiller systems, cooling tower systems, and compressed air systems a plus
    • AutoCad experience would be a plus
    • Field work experience is a plus
